Subscription delivery to your home and office
The FlowerChild personally delivers subscriptions to your home every Thursday, and to your office every Monday. We reserve the right to change the delivery day and will notify you should that be necessary.
The FlowerChild will personally deliver all florae and plant products to you, including if ordered with any gift and homeware items, subject to our delivery areas schedule (see below). Some gift and homeware orders will be delivered via a courier service (arranged by The FlowerChild) and others will be delivered with your subscription. We reserve the right to deliver gift and homeware in parts and will notify you regarding delivery.
Delivery cost of gift bouquets and gifts is R65.00 (subject to the delivery areas below, if your area is not listed please contact us directly to arrange delivery). We only deliver fresh blooms and plants to the following areas but homeware can be delivered all over South Africa:
General Care and Handling
When you receive a bunch of flowers from The FlowerChild, please fill a clean vase with cold tap water — one-third full for single varietal and two-thirds full for mixed varietal bunches. Add the flower food sachet. When the water becomes discoloured, change it, about every 2-3 days.
Please keep your flowers out of direct sunlight and away from any draft or heat sources, like air conditioners or fireplaces. You will need to keep an eye on the water level; we suggest that vases and containers are not overfilled but rather topped up every second day or so. Some flowers may drink a lot of water and you may need to refill more regularly.

The FlowerChild does not currently offer a countrywide delivery service of homeware, but delivers around Gauteng. For large gift and homeware orders, please contact us directly so that we can try and accommodate you.
All residential subscription deliveries are made on a Thursday (at the discretion of The FlowerChild). All corporate subscription deliveries are made on a Monday.
The FlowerChild will do its utmost not to interrupt delivery of subscriptions but we cannot guarantee this and accept no liability for any interruption of service in the event of any cause beyond our reasonable control, which results in a delivery being impractical or impossible.
